I've always wanted to make a song with some fast, weird flamenco strumming patterns along with an exciting drum beat. This is that song. And, of course, I had to throw in some crazy guitar tapping harmonies in the chorus.
lyrics
You plant my seed into the ground
You plant my seed into the ground
What are you waiting for?
So, what are you waiting for?
I sink my teeth into the ground
I sink my teeth into the crowd
Take the time to throw a line, reel it in, and get left behind
Lose your grip, postpone the trip, sail another day
Ain't it funny how I bash my face on the wall in vain?
Seems like someday I'd get tired of waiting thinking that it'll change
So, what are you waiting for?
What are you waiting for?
Something tells me that I'm better of waiting
Something tells me what I knew before
Somethings shakin' and I'm better off waiting
Somethings shakin' and I'm out the door
You dig my roots up from the ground
You smoke my leaves until they're brown
Melt my feet into the ground
Can't see the trees behind the cloud
Take the time to throw a line, reel it in, and get left behind
Lose your grip, postpone the trip, sail another day
Ain't it funny how I bash my face on the wall in vain?
Seems like someday I'd get tired of waiting thinking that it'll change
Seems like someday I'd get tired of waiting thinking that it'll change
